Crochet Hook Cases

This has been a long season of cold and snow, which means a LOT of yarn has passed these fingers. Crochet seems to be my hobby of choice these last few months, and I love some of the new projects that have come across my path. I pinned a beautiful hook case a while ago on Pinterest in hopes of one day making a case to store all of my crochet needles. That day has come, my Dearies:

My sister's birthday was a couple of weeks ago, so this gray one was her gift. Filled with new hooks of course:)

The Crochet Hook Case pattern is FREE and found HERE. I loved the design, but wanted to have bigger pockets for larger handled crochet hooks, so I adapted the pattern with this one from the Instructables. Very helpful!!

Hobby Lobby has these wonderful wooden handled crochet hooks in all sizes. This case holds the larger handles!

Once I finished my sister's hook case, I made one for me and another for a future gift. The yarn I used is a yummy cotton blend found at Hobby Lobby called, I love This Cotton// so soft and weighty. My older daughter also pointed out these could be used for markers or pens for the budding artists in your life. Relaxing and oh, so satisfying!
