On our recent trip to Holland, Michigan, my Hubs and I found some fun vintage finds. A favorite were some aged Golden Books. I didn't know what I was going to do with them at the time, but the illustrations were so captivating and the colors so bright, I knew for .25 they would find a purpose. As I flipped through the pages, I decided to make a bunting out of one to hang on my class/ craft room; I loved the text and pictures, so I alternated the pictures with the story.
I loved how easy this project was to complete. I made a simple bunting template out of card stock, traced over the pages and cut. After I hole-punched the tops, I strung two colors of baker's twine through and added some strips of fabric to the ends.
A simple Sunday project.
Happy day, friends!
