So, this word: JOY. Crave it. Need it. Want it to be an evident fruit of my life.
When I decided to make this frame, JOY came to mind; a reminder, a motto, heralding me to remember that a life surrendered fully to Him will abound in this virtue. Not easy to swallow when life comes crashing in and hearts get clipped. So a reminder is good!
I had this frame in my bathroom, but it kept falling down. First, the glass broke. Then, the frame came unhinged. I was tired of the image anyway, so I pulled the whole thing apart. I added some spray paint, Kraft paper cards, fabric letters & twine; it made for a fresh, new image to reflect upon.
I drew the letters on a vintage pillow case and cut them out. Then, I centered the fabric letters on the Kraft cards and used orange thread to sew the perimeter of the letters.
Have a joyful week, Friends!
