Snail mail {LOVE}

Last week I returned from an amazing trip with my husband to find a surprise package and note in the mail. Can I just say I was thrilled to bits when I saw that lovely, bulky manila mailer?! It has become such a rarity to find anything but fire kindling {mailers and junk} or bills in the mailbox, that I don't look forward to the mailman's departure as I once used to.

I loved these books growing up!!

Emails, texts and social media have taken over the connectedness to friends we once couldn't bear to NOT see. So, this week, with the HOT weather at hand, I am going to pop out my Vintage Inspired Nancy Drew postcards from a recent Goodwill trip, grab an iced tea, sit on my patio and WRITE notes to some friends.

This has been on my mind for a long time. I will think of someone, a burden they may be carrying, a joy to share and I have the INTENTION of jotting a personal note, but then life happens, and the moment is gone.

Hello cuteness...

Hello cuteness...

It's time for some sunshine in the mail. Happiness. Life is sometimes bleak, hard, dry. I need to be intentional in this area of my life as well; watering some beauties in my garden, knowing that God is doing something I cannot see. Maybe one of these notes will bless someone to bits and more snail mail love will follow.

Finding the right title for each friend will be fun!

Postcards + Friends + Mail = one busy {but happy} Mama. I better start writing, the post office is in my future as well. {How much to send postcards now? It really has been a long time since I've done this:}

Happy Summer,
