Welcome June!

Summer is officially in full swing around here: neighborhood pool is open, Mama's car shuttle service has been utilized and some goals from the Teen Summer Bucket list have been completed. We started the weekend off with a visit to our amazing local library to get the kids set up on their summer reading goals. We ended the weekend with a friend's graduation open house and confirmation party. On Saturday I took a couple of my kids to the Indie Arts &Vintage Marketplace in Indianapolis. {Awesome}

It was fun strolling through the booths admiring the fantastic displays and originality of each vendor. My daughter loved the wares and purchased a couple of items from her hard-earned cash reserves, while my son loved the food wagons. Fun for all!

I found some lovely vintage fabric at this booth; truly cute stuff.

There's something about June that frees me a little; slower paces and routines, more time to think, pray, dream. I want to be more intentional about enjoying the loveliness that surrounds me, not getting caught up in the constant need to 'go' or 'do' more. I need simple. I need slower. This weekend was a great start.

Happy June to you!
