I dream. She draws.

A few months ago I had one of the most vivid dreams of my life. It was clear and precise with believable and lovable characters. An entire story began to unfold and as I stumbled into wakefulness, I added some details that completed a tale of a young girl, her father and a town that learned how to love in tangible ways. As I awoke, I was careful to write down my memories and share them with my drowsy, but attentive husband. We smiled. The story was cute and endearing. Once I told my children the dreamy tale, my oldest daughter began to draw...

...she drew a series of pictures that moved through the plot and characters, making a simple dream something *more*. We collaborated and laughed and grew. She used these pictures in her AP art class for her concentration this year.

Life is colorful and bold and oh so fun. I'm grateful for how this simple dream has turned into a chance to create with my lovely daughter. It has been a labor of love and JOY. Hoping you find some time this week to create JOY with your loved ones!
