May Day Cones Tutorial

This time of year brings back memories of our annual May Day Dances in elementary school. Each class had a theme, costume {made out of colored construction paper and streamers, HA!} and song with simple choreographed dance moves.  It was a highlight for many of us who loved the outdoors, music and decorating- big WIN! {This was one occasion parents and friends were encouraged to participate or observe}. After I moved to the Midwest, a friend introduced me to the May Day cone; another fun way to celebrate May with friends and neighbors.

Some years the cones are filled with fresh flowers. This year I filled them with a white chocolate mix.
