Fabric Scrap Tags

Here's another installment of uses for all those extra bits of fabric scraps piling up. If you don't sew, save some favorite garments and cut swatches for scrap projects. I've been so attached to certain outfits from my children that I couldn't part with the material; instead, I used the fabric to make softies, doll clothes or some of the crafts in these past posts.

In the top row of tags, I used: ruffled scraps, vintage handkerchief and linens cut with pinking shears.
In the second row I used: a cupcake liner {already ruffled} with band of fabric zig-zag sewn, stamps and fun twine.
For the small tags: Not as much area to work with, so used fabric as a tie and heart shape. Vintage lace and washi tape were added.

I usually make a bunch of tags at one time, then when an occasion for gift-giving arrives, I have some frilly choices at my disposal. This gorgeous green vase {Goodwill find!} is the current holder of my tags; plan on filling it up this weekend!
