*Day:5 White Elephant Party {Christmas for Teens}

My middle daughter invited a few of her friends over for an Ugly Christmas Sweater/White Elephant Party last week. I remember doing this as a teenager, and they always brought tons of laughs. Each person brings an unusual gift to exchange with another friend, having the opportunity to grab an unopened gift, OR take an already opened gift from a friend.

My Bean is third from the left. Such a sweet group of girls.

The girls laughed, ate and opened gifts. Here are the packages looking quite unassuming in front of our small basement Christmas tree.

And here is what emerged as the White Elephant gifts after the laughs and packaging were thrown about:

Yeah, kind of random, jaw-dropping and hilarious. We heard the giggles for hours and couldn't help but smile; really, most of the items on the table were someone else's discards, but that night they were treasures to the Teens. Some simple food, gifts, and time together is what made this a fun evening for the girls.

Have a JOY-filled day,
