A little help from my friends...

Last Christmas my Hubs gifted me with the most amazing 'helper" // a Kitchenaid Mixer// in the most brilliant shade of Blue {Ice}. She was shiny and hefty in weight. I almost didn't want to smudge her up, but of course she had a purpose and we broke her in quickly with some homemade soft pretzels. She worked hard and saved tons of time with a touch of flair. She was christened "Gretchen" that day by my daughters and I.

The Body: Hands

When my eldest child was born, I noticed everything: her small feet, oblong shaped and bruised head, tiny scrunchy eyes, sweet smell and long legs. She was finally with us, healthy and whole and that's what mattered most. My mom joined us in the delivery room {of course!} and the first thing she said after meeting this inaugural grandchild was: "She has Daron's {my handsome hubs} hands." What?! Who notices hands?
